evvivanoè esposizioni d'arte will be at stand number 25 (concert hall) during the 3rd edition of the cork art fair, international art fair which will take place in cork, republic of ireland, from 28th to 30th september 2007.

special wine welcome offered to all visitors during the opening day -friday 28th september- with a selection of white and red italian wines from the langhe region made by the "azienda agricola lorenzo cauda" from cisterna d'asti, italy.

the art gallery, founded in march 2006, is in the heart of the historic centre of cherasco, a charming medieval town at the beginning of the langhe area (piedmont, northern italy). it is a space devoted to Italian and international contemporary art; a meeting point for artists, art lovers and collectors.

under the direction of sara merlino , the gallery has kept the remaining parts of antique walls which, through the centuries, have lived the vicissitudes of cherasco’s history. they have been rescued, made contemporary and turned into an elegant background for art works.

the name is a link with the town, its past and its traditions: “evviva noè!” is, in fact, a well-wishing cry the citizens used to exchange. writer gina lagorio, in her book “tra le mura stellate”, described that cry as «an implicit blessing for the year».
